John Pizzarelli – June 25
Lauded by The Boston Globe for “reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz”, John Pizzarelli is a world-renowned jazz guitarist, vocalist, bandleader, and awe-inspiring creative force. Utterly cool and ubiquitously resonant, John Pizzarelli is a talent one must see to believe.
Due to the weather, the John Pizzarelli performance will be held in the First United Methodist Church located directly behind the stage in Bronson Park, across Park Street.
Nat Zegree – July 30
An immensely talented singer and songwriter, Nat Zegree makes his return to his native Kalamazoo. Since moving to New York City, Nat has headlined various cabaret shows and new original musicals and is currently working on his debut album. Possessing confidence, charm, and a fantastic voice, Nat Zegree is sure to be rapturously welcomed back to the city as well as the stage.
Herlin Riley Quintet – August 27
Master drummer Herlin Riley brings his unique New Orleans sound to Thursdays in the Park. A regularly featured musician at Jazz at the Lincoln Center, he has performed alongside some of the biggest names in jazz. This afternoon of jazz is guaranteed to leave Bronson Park pulsing with soul and celebration!
