“Superheroes of the new music world... ”
– The Boston Globe –
Hailed by The New York Times as the “nation’s most important quartet,” the JACK Quartet is one of the most acclaimed, renowned, and respected groups performing today.
JACK has maintained an unwavering commitment to their mission of performing and commissioning new works, giving voice to underheard composers, and cultivating an ever-greater sense of openness toward contemporary classical music. They will be joined by Colin Currie, “the world’s finest and most daring percussionist” (The Spectator).
Program features 20th- and 21st-century composers, such as Xenakis, Simon Holt, Suzanne Farrin, and others.
Colin Currie will be holding a Percussion Master Class in conjunction this performance on November 21, 2019. Specific information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
Master Classes are open to the public, and no tickets are needed to be part of the audience.
