“There’s hardly anybody I know who knows so much about music but who is also at the same time such an intuitive and wild musician, who comes at it directly from the stomach.”

– Lars Vogt on Christian Tetzlaff in The New Yorker

Fontana will bring together two of the most prominent performers in classical music – Christian Tetzla and Lars Vogt.

Tetzla is known for his musical integrity, technical assurance, and intelligent and compelling interpretations. He is internationally recognized as one of the most sought-after violinists and exciting musicians on the scene today.

Accompanying Tetzla will be pianist Lars Vogt, one of the leading musicians of his generation. Vogt’s versatility as an artist ranges from the core classical repertoire of Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, and Brahms to the romantics Grieg, Tchaikovsky, and Rachmanino.
